Title: help My amule expired.

Goodday
Click on server button and i got a reply..
Invalid versiontag in server.met (0x3C)!

Does That means that i have to reinstall amule???

My previous attempt took me weeks to do a amule installation.

Please!!!  Is there other alternatives ???

I need step by step instructions to help me out!

the file might be corrupted. Just delete ~/.aMule/server.met and restar aMule.
Report reults, please.

where is the directory of " ~/.aMule/server.met"

I am using the RH9

I have found the server.met files and deleteted them.
But i am still having the same problem!

hey

sorry for that the server url is hardcoded and since you use such an old amule this url is not valid anymore...
change the url to
http://www.srv1000.com/azz/server.met

and retry download....

but I would recommend you to atleast upgrad to rc5, its really stable and muhc better then 1.2.6.....
its just marked rc because of MacOS not because of linux....

URL is too old , you are right.

How do i upgrade. Using the simplest method?
