Title: selective ipfilter
Post by: sardaukar_siet on October 05, 2004, 03:06:32 AM
I'm Portuguese and the wanking ISP's over here have a limit on "international" traffic, so could you please add the possibility to disable IPfilter on some files? this way I can download the files I don't mind getting from my limit without restarting aMule and stopping the others. For this to work, traffic to servers must always be unfiltered, right? There's a great mod for this on win32 called "Bowlfish".

 thanks for reading

[sardaukar_siet] "Ola caro amigo!"  ;)

Hi there to you all!

Actually, i've been thinking about this, and maybe the hardest coding is already done! CATEGORIES! Couldn't you just make a Category that ISN'T filtered by the IPFilter? Also, (i speak for my self, cause i'm not an aMule coder) it would probably be easy to simply CHANGE that category's associated IPFilter!! That way, the famous black-listed government IP's could be filtered, even when we (portuguese) turn off our ip-filter enabling international downloads  :P

Come on Kry, Delta, Polish dudes!!  :baby: Help yer fellow Portuguese to use aMule!! You can bet that's the last VERY IMPORTANT feature missing for more 20.000 users....

Give some feedback about this, please..
