Title: rc6 for redhat/fedora
Post by: bootstrap on October 05, 2004, 10:10:15 PM
Hi Folks!

Just wanted to let you people know why there's still no rc6 rpm for rh/fedora systems.

As there are several problems with rc6 and there will be a new release (rc6a?) very soon, i won't build rc6 rpms by now.
That saves me some time building and you some time asking.

Once rc6a or rc7 will be released i'll drop rpms asap.

Regards

bootstrap

[EDIT - KRY]

RC7 this weekend, oops, I mean, soon

This week end is soon, but soon doesnt mean this week end :D

The best answer could be as soon as all bugs will be fixed as night only has 12 hours long :)

I have been runing rc6 on fc1 and wx 2.4.2 for 4 days with no problems. The dl speed is great!
I think the bugs are very subtle.
thanks

Hi,

Yes, principal bug is located in remote control functions, and some minors in secondary functions. If u dont use them, rc6 rocks :)
