Title: Why call it a RC??
Post by: blixer on October 07, 2004, 11:55:53 AM
Hi devs,

I don't mean to flame here, I love amule and use it all the time etc.

I'm just wondering why you keep calling the new release RCs?
I though an RC was a release CANDIDATE, i.e. a version that after a bit of testing can be renamed to the final release without modification.

If you keep adding so many new features you will never squash all the bugs!! :)

Blix.

Because someone swore that we would have Mac support before 2.0 ... *glares at certain developers* :p

Hey, Mac support is nice, isn't it?

We call it RCs because we're different.
