Hi,

U have 3 (!) different wx packages, dunno wich the linkage will choose, and if it is the wrong one, u obtain the kind of crash u had ...

Please only install the package correponding to the amule rpm u have :)

Some users also reported they had problem with packages in 10.1 from mandrake even when all seem to be well installed

In the doubt, desinstall all wx and amule packages and install:

aMule-2.0.0rc6-4mdk-10.1.i586.rpm (http://download.berlios.de/amule/aMule-2.0.0rc6-4mdk-10.1.i586.rpm)
libwxgtk-gtk2u_2.5_3-2.5.3-2mdk-10.1.i586.rpm (http://download.berlios.de/amule/libwxgtk-gtk2u_2.5_3-2.5.3-2mdk-10.1.i586.rpm)

Should solve your problem

I confirm that last custom version from ThePolish works out of the box without any problems, when you use the wxgtk 2.5.3 libraries provided.

Mdk rpms definetely caused crashes.
