Title: Preventing from crash at startup under Linux

I have checked it personally, and aMule crashes when loading because of shared libs when using wxGTK-2.4.2-4.1.fc2.dag.i386.rpm

Everyone should use official releases like:

wxBase-2.4.2-1.i586.rpm
wxGTK-2.4.2-1.i386.rpm
wxGTK-devel-2.4.2-1.i386.rpm
