hey

its only rc/testing on MacOS, not on linux....
so you can download and install it without any fear ;)

I installed the new version upon the old ma it does'nt work! It appears in the program bar but id doesn't load. I removed old&nu version and then after a reboot i re-install the nu version but it still doesn't work! Neither if i reinstall old version it works!

I uninstalled them from the yast "add/remove packages", included wxbase and wxgtk 2.4.2. To let amule 2.0.0 rc6 work i have to download wxgtk 2.5? Where can i find it? I found it only for mandrake, not for suse

remove ~/.eMule and ~/.aMule/clients.met:
rm ~/.eMule ~/.aMule/clients.met

in fact, if you'd take the consideration, try moving _only_ ~/.eMule to some other place and see if aMule starts. if it does, please come into #amule at irc.freenode.net and send that file to Xaignar (developer) so he can see what the problem is. if it sitll doesn't start, just remove both files and it'll surely start

Greetings!

All is gone ok  8)

Just a few questions:
1) in the transfers window if i remove some properties showed of download (for example; transferred, sources, ecc...) at the following boot of amule they come back! How can i remove  them?

2)I noticed that finally i can see upload/download speed, but it's impossible to see them in the top of program, right?

Keep up the good work  ;)

1) Bug, will be fixed in rc7.
2) Not impossible, there should be an option for that IIRC.

Great, it works  :baby:

Another 2 questions (they are the last  :] ):

1)I use both eMule and aMule, the first in winxp and the second in suse; temp files are on fat32 partition. I noticed that aMule re-hash downloads that were continued with aMule, am i wrong?

2) can i use "safe identification" in both software aMule and eMule or this will cause trouble with credits/downloads ecc...?

Thx u  ;)

Imho, if you use for eMule and aMule the same cryptkey.dat file - there should be no problems/drawbacks.

but I do not really know that..  wait till RC7 is released, maybe aMule-devs have then more time to answer. :]

U mean files of Windows eMule, right?

When rc7 will be released i can install it on the previous version? I'm wrong or in the current version u can't set priority to server?

1) true, it'll rehash everytime you switch from aMule to eMuel and backwards. it's a bug in the FAT32 design. there's no way to fix it, sorry :-(

2) sure you can as long as you NEVER run both at the same time. copy ~/.aMule/cryptkey.dat ~/.aMule/preferences.dat and ~/.aMule/clients.met to your eMule/config directory

3) he's from Chile, not spanish ;-P
