Title: Un able to get share file list

When i try to get file list from firnd or from anybody it is sth like this:

25/10/04 19:16:46: Requesting shared files from qwer
25/10/04 19:16:46: Client 'qwer' (IP:62.121.105.100) caused an error: 7. Disconnecting client!
25/10/04 19:16:46: Failed to retrieve shared files from qwer

Shared list is denied to everybody by default (because of security reasons) in emule and in amule, so that error is an expected behavior.

you can allow other clients to see your shared files list, but i rather recommend you not to do it,. There are some (quite a lot, in fact) clients out there managed by the RIAA, MPAA and such which will try to get that list from you. Ok, you are probably not sharing any illegal stuff (we all hope you aren't, in fact) bt that's an attempt against your provacy, so it's disgusting.

I also have this problem.
I have two computers. On one I have eMule 0.44b runing in Windows XP and on one I have aMule 2.0.0rc7 runing on Gentoo Linux.
I enabled on both computers to allow everyone to look at my shared filelist. eMule can read the files shared on aMule just fine. But when I try in the oposite direction aMule just disconnects from eMule user and tells me it failed to get filelist. If I check the log on eMule computer I can see that eMule did send the filelist.

Fixd, only happens with eMule >= 0.42g
