Title: Client-server with full-blown GUI on client

I finally managed to compile amuled, but I'm a bit disappointed about how basic amulecmd is. Are there any plans for a full GUI client-server arrangement? Ie you'll be able to see the full GUI on one PC as if running the full version of amule, but all the downloading/uploading is being done on another PC.

I know you can do that with X anyway, but the trouble is AFAIK you can't freely shut down and reconnect the PC with the X server while leaving the other PC running amule in the background. If someone can tell me otherwise, by some trick, I'll be delighted to hear it.

But perhaps this facility of X could be used as a shortcut to implementing what I want. All you'd need is to be able to keep the GUI in a separate thread which can be stopped and started (via amulecmd perhaps, preferably with an option to set DISPLAY dynamically) while everything else continues in the background.
