For all you slackware users 8)
My previous packages where build on slackware-current, but i've installed a new box just for packages :))
Build on slackware 10 with latest Dropline-Gnome (http://www.dropline.net/gnome/) installed.
aMule 2.0.0rc7 : aMule-2.0.0rc7-i686-3thee.tgz (http://plus-hoogeveen.xs4all.nl:82/slackware-repository/aMule/aMule-2.0.0rc7-i686-3thee.tgz)
build options : --prefix=/usr --disable-static --disable-cas --disable-wxcas --disable-debug --enable-optimise --enable-amule-daemon --enable-webserver
wxGTK 2.5.3 : wxGTK-2.5.3-i686-2thee.tgz (http://plus-hoogeveen.xs4all.nl:82/slackware-repository/wxGTK/wxGTK-2.5.3-i686-2thee.tgz)
build options : --prefix=/usr --disable-static --disable-debug --enable-optimise --with-gtk --enable-gtk2 --disable-unicode
Or use swaret repository support by adding this line to swaret.conf: REPOS_ROOT=Theetjuh%http://plus-hoogeveen.xs4all.nl:82/slackware-repository/
Use ln -sf /usr/share/amuleweb/aMule.tmpl ~/.aMule/aMule.tmpl && ln -sf /usr/share/amuleweb/webserver ~/.aMule/webserver too get the webserver working.
I'll try too update this topic with every new update or suggestions by you all :)

Is ok to use that links or should we host ourselves=?

I have update my Slackware 10.0 with amule.
I use...
aMule 2.0.0rc7 : aMule-2.0.0rc7-i686-3thee.tgz
wxGTK 2.5.3 : wxGTK-2.5.3-i686-2thee.tgz
But the same problem...
my@pc:~$ amule
Initialising aMule
Userhash loaded: F8A88F981A0E7798A9B2B214B72C6FBE
*** UDP socket at 4665
*** UDP socket at 4672
my@pc:~$
I delete the .amule dir
ls -l /usr/bin/wx*
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 4864 2004-06-26 18:46 /usr/bin/wxbase-2.4-config
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 26 2004-08-10 16:30 /usr/bin/wxbase-config -> /usr/bin/wxbase-2.4-config
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 39 2004-11-04 18:50 /usr/bin/wx-config -> /usr/lib/wx/config/gtk-ansi-release-2.5
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 8 2004-11-04 18:50 /usr/bin/wxrc -> wxrc-2.5
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 57516 2004-11-04 14:34 /usr/bin/wxrc-2.5
What can I do?

Poper:
You're talking about different things that what this thread is talking about -> Open a NEW thread.
As for now, delete ~/.eMule file too and restart aMule.
Please don't answer here, just open a new thread if you still have problems.
Greetings!

You can post the links ... but my bandwidth isn't that great ;)
