Hi there,
I would like to install aMule.
I would like to know if it is possible to import the files that eMule begins to dowload into aMule. I would like to continue and finish the downloading began.
I have seen on the french forum that a guy try it but didn't succed. I transfert the temp files of eMule to the temp of aMule. An other guy said that it succed when he did it but it was a times ago.
Is it still possible with the last version of eMule and aMule.
Thanks

It should work afaik, if eMule hadn't recently changed the file format :)
I have seen on the french forum that a guy try it but didn't succed.
I don't know any french, so I haven't seen this forum, but problems may arise when endianness come into sight - eg. one saves the file in host byte order, the other one reads it in network byte order - obviously it won't succeed if the two isn't the same. I don't say that this is the problem, but this may be a possible problem.

just copy all files from your emules temp dir to amule (set the right permissions maybe)..
amule will rehash it and dl.. thats all ;)

aMule and eMule files are 100% compatible. not only the temp files, but also most of their config files.
