I get tons of messages like this (like 1 per sec)... no idea what it means,
Result is though that i almost cannot exchange data with other clients...
everything else seems to work ok.
Any suggestion? Thanx.

disable verbose in your prefs and be happy ;)
it's a normal behaviour on the ed2k network
cheers

Maybe it's normal behaviour...
Still its not normal that my upload queue is always almost empty and
clients download from me at ridiculous speed (0.1kb and i have really fat pipes...)
and viceversa...
Even when i'm downloading really popular files...
If i try emule on the same machine while running windows everything works ok...
Thanx anyway...

> Client 'toto' caused an error: 7. Disconnecting client!
I get tons of those messages. You see them when the remote client disconnected (closed client, powered off the computer, fell from the internet, etc).
> clients download from me at ridiculous speed
strange. _very_ strange. check your system's and network's configuration (ye, even if eMule works fine on Windows). Out of a laaaarge userbase in aMule, it can't be possible you are the only one with such a bug ;)
Greetings!

It may really be possible that culprit is my network configuration... still i do not know how
to determine it:
Ping to an external site tells me i have low latency.
Downloading from ftp sites tell me i have high bandwith (>500K/s)
Using bittorrent i download and upload pretty fast...
What i see is my queue is empty... so clients start downloading and either download
at really small rate or disconnect. (this causing loads of "error: 7"...).
I think the effect is something like i had really high packet drop rates... only i do not :P
I attach my upload statistics...
Any hint on how to determine the cause?
Thanx for helping :)

ok, someone will look at it :)

doont forget to change your ports to something random. My isp (comcast) filters the ports and it works slow like that til i change them.
anyways, i get these errors too. FLooded with "soandso cause an error: diconnecting client!"
sure i can turn it off, but this cant be a good thing! disconnecting at least 1 per second for some unknown reason
while i was typing this:

if you look at what is error 0, 2 and 22 you'll see it's not an unknown reason ;)
i don't knopw buy heart what they are, but must be reconnecting too frequently, wrong packets size and and wrong tag types (amgonst other, of course xD).
there are lot's of borken clients out there. If you used eMule with debug info you'd see the same output :)
Greetings!
