hallo
after running amule 1.... on suse 9.1 i wanted to run amule 2.... on suse 9.2
but when i start amule i get this message:
Initialising aMule
Userhash loaded: F77661958B0E08630D6266144B376FF3
*** UDP socket at 4665
*** UDP socket at 4672
i have already tried several versions of amule gtk and wxbase the last was the aMule-2.0.0rc7+wxGTK-2.5.3_SuSE9-pack but it also generats the same error
what can i do?

try moving ~/.aMule and ~/.eMule (BOTH) somewhere else and start aMule then.
Do NOT delete ~/.aMule or ~/.eMule. ONLY move the away from your home dir.

thanks for the fast answer
but:
i only got the ~/.aMule folder... does this matter ?(
moving it somewehre else makes no differenc, but i think i already delete the ~/.aMule Folder before, to get a clean one when amule starts and so it did, could this be the mistake?

you must have the ~/.eMule file, please check it again ;)

the ~/.aMule folder was/is in my home directory but i cant find the eMule folder, where should it be originally? or which files are in this folder?
also when i moved the aMule folder to another location it was rebuild in my home-folder where is the config file for aMule? where can i change the parameters?

please post here the old .eMule file (the one that prevented aMule from starting)
this way we can fix aMule ;)
