Title: Problems - Network very slow
Post by: mikau on December 12, 2004, 07:42:01 PM
Hello

I'm using a machine that is my gateway to the internet, this machine
uses iptables has firewall and is in that machine that I installed
amule.
My problem is that when I start amule, my access to internet becomes
very very slow and I'm having difficult to download and even upload
with amule.

My configurations is:
Download 30 kB/s
Upload 10 kB/s
Slot allocation 2 kB/s
Max Sources per file 200
Max connections 200

Help appreciated...

If there is someone with an iptables configuration that I can test, would be nice.

Many Thanks...

Thanks for your reply, but already read that article, but
it didn't help.
In the past I was using eMule for Windows and I didn't had
any problems.
I think is some problem with my firewall ???

try changing the default ports ot something else.
also, wait for credits. you had lots of credits in your eMule, but you still have no credits in aMule

Greetings!
