Title: unable to download files
Post by: ashwin on December 15, 2004, 08:27:12 PM
Hi,
I am new to amule. I tried downloading mp3's. I connected to one of the servers & performed a search. Search returned a number of hits. I choose one of them clicked download. But then a progress bar appears in blue & stays at 0% for a long time. ?( I then close amule. I have not been able to download any file so far. What is going wrong here? I am using fedora core 3 Linux.

Thank you,

with regards,
ashwin

Hi,
Whenever i start amule someone is uploading files from my shared dir. Thats fine, but i am not able to download any files. The upload is running to its max limit but the download remains at 0.0 even though i have got a high ID. any suggestions or help would be very much appreciated.

ashwin, once again, reading the above link will hep you understand how the ed2k network works, what credits are and why until you haven't shared quite some files and data it is hard for any client to download anythign at all unless you are very very luky :)

Greets.
