Hi everyone !
There's a problem with ed2k links. I think that if they are too much long, aMule says it's an invalid link. By "too much long", I mean links which are longer than the area where we can paste them. aMule says :
Invalid link: This ed2k link is invalid: Not a well-formed ed2k
Except from that and the bug with accentuated downloads i Already mentionned, I have no problem with your greeeeeeeat app ! Thanks to you all !
(I realized too that aMule crashes only when it's downloading. If there's no active download, it can run days and days without crashes, I don't know if it helps...)

GonoszTopi fixed something lately (three days ago) in CVS regarding a memory flow in the ED2KLinks parser. so check if this is still happening with latest current CVS please :)

Well I tried with the latest CVS (rc8 ) juste before posting on the forum, and the ed2k links longer than the area where we can paste them don't work.
Let me describe my configuration : I own a G4 and an iBook. The G4 is connected to the net via ethernet and shares its connection via Airport to the iBook (and my girlfriend's PC). The G4 is not connected to a display, I use it through Apple Remote Desktop with the iBook.
Why am I saying that ? Because the G4's desktop size is the same as the iBook's. I can't make it bigger. All I know is that smaller links work ! Tonight, I'll try to paste a small ed2k link that I know is working in a smaller aMule window...

ehm, try splitting the ed2k link into various lines, something like:
ed2k://|file|aMule-CVS-jsaydgaysfuasgfkasuyfguksayfgksaygfksaugfkasuygfkasf
gasuykfgauksyfgaksuyfgasukyfgasukyfgsaf.tar.gz|1234567|as543asda765sad
7sad76as5d7a6sa4dasda|/
(the idea you have to get from the above link is that it is splitted into three different lines).
ANd then report if that works (it should. it works here ;))
