Greetings,
Currently I'm running aMule 2.0.0rc7 and would like to upgrade it to ...rc8, so I have two questions:
1) Can I just uninstall rc7 via
urpmi amule
and install the new rc8, or is there any other proceedure I should know about?
2) Can I make a backup of all file in ~.aMule/ directory and then overwrite this backup over thenw rc8 files, so I won't loose credits and other stuff, related to my sharing activities?
Thanks!

just download the mdk 10.1 pack from our dl page, be sure that u have same wxgtk installed like in the pack and install your amule with: rpm -Uvh aMule-2.0.0rc8..rpm
when you have other wxgtk on your system, uninstall it and install all rpms from our pack
and there is no need to backup the .aMule dir.
cheers
