Title: amule doesn't start on Mandrake 10.1

I followed install instructions as said in README file. I uninstalled all wx files, and amule. After installing amule, it did not start, I just saw an hourglass and then amule disapeared.
I started it from terminal and got this output: (I'm using mandrake 10.1)

[peter@localhost peter]$ amule
Initialising aMule

ok, can you still post

rpm -qa | grep wx

ok, can you try to delete the

.eMule  FILE!!!
from the homedir of the user that runs amule??

this is a hidden file, and I know its tehre ;)
DONT touch your .aMule directory tho

It started ok. Thank you very much.  :)

I hate runing it in windows, it freezes after a few hours.

Linux mule rules, you can run it forever.

btw. rc8 still has some minor bugs, if you have some problems try cvs snapshot ;)
