Title: How 2 block spam messages?

Hello,

I am getting a lot of messages from several indivuduals promoting a new eMule client. Is there anyway of blocking this stuff with IP filtering? I have tried pasting an IP number into the appropriate field on the Security page of the Preferences notebook, but it doesn't take effect.

Try Preferences->Message Filter.

Let me guess: You are using rc8 (or something older)?

Message filtering wasn't present in rc8 but it is in current CVS. So you can either compiler a CVS tarball yourself or wait for 2.0.0 final...

ah, that explains it. I am using RC7 at the moment. Thanks.
