Title: Two things
Post by: bograt on February 20, 2005, 10:28:37 PM
I would like to be able to import downloads from a duel boot system, for example edonkey programs from windows imported into Linux so cutting down on dead time I know thats a long shot but I live in hope.

Secondly I would like to be able to preview downloads so stopping us wasting time downloading material which is fake or not the type we would want our children to see.

Anyway if it's already been done and i' missing it I will apologise now.

If it hasn't then thats what I'd like.

You can preview files if you have set a program to use for previews in preferences - directories and then right-click on a download and select preview.

About continuing downloads: amule is 100% compatible to emule in its files, so you can continue downloads started with emule (and any other client that is compatible with emule, I know there have been troubles regarding edonkey / overnet clients that brought along their own file standards...) and you can continue downloads started with amule under windows using emule etc. The only thing is that amule will complain about files being possibly corrupted and rehash all of them which takes some time...
