Title: error: 7 Disconnecting client!
Post by: cfriedt on February 23, 2005, 06:21:40 PM
aMule gives me a seemingly endless list of error: 7 s

Could a developer get back to me and let me know the cause of the error 7 ?

The problem could be on my end in that my NATing firewall may not be forwarding the packets properly, but I'd like to know specifically what's wrong with the TCP / UDP packets, i.e. the exact definition of error: 7

...

02/23/05 12:29:03: Client '' (IP:80.140.107.64) caused an error: 7. Disconnecting client!
02/23/05 12:29:03: Client '' (IP:67.127.72.55) caused an error: 7. Disconnecting client!
02/23/05 12:29:03: Client '' (IP:217.224.111.47) caused an error: 7. Disconnecting client!

....

Also, if this is at all relevent, I'm not using the newest release because I'm running gentoo, and I'm waiting for the next ebuild.

cfriedt,

I think this does not happen anymore on CVS version.

Cheers!
