could you please improve the bad ip updater that can also update only once a day/week?

Currently automatic update is supported only on startup. However, you may use a little shell script to download the filter, place it into aMule's directory and utilize amulecmd to tell aMule to reload the filter. You may even put this script into a crontab job set to run every day/week and thus achieve the requested feature. 8)
