Hi, excuse me... I installed on ubuntu 4.10 from synaptic aMule CVS; is the latest version or I must download deb package from http://www.amule.org site?

What difference between CVS and 2.0.0rc8?

cvs is the development version, it includes a lot of fixes and new code.

rc8 is the last offical release
