Title: Convert part-files from overnet
Post by: demofreak on March 16, 2005, 01:03:06 PM
Hi,

I want to use the part-files from overnet, but they are sorted into subdirectorys, splitted into one file per chunk und have other naming conventions.

amule: 001.part, 001.part.met, 001.part.met.bak
overnet: 1.1.part, 1.2.part, 1.3.part, ..., 1.part.met

Emule gui client seems to be able converting these files into emule part files (google tells about that ;)), but I'm using amuled und amuleweb on a linux box.

How can I solve this problem?

Well, it's on our TODO list. Will be coming soon (but not before 2.0.0).

A workaround would be to use wine and run emule under it just to convert these files.

Hm, do I forgot to mention, that this linux box has no screen/keyboard attached and is located about 350km far away? :D
Wine is not an option, sadly.

Nevertheless, nice to know, that this convert thingy is on the TODO. :)
