Title: Adding server manually
Post by: gilmour on March 17, 2005, 11:30:26 AM
First of all.. compliments for your software. It works very well.

I only have a little problem in the version 2.0.0rc8:

when I try to add a server manually, if the first byte of IP is too low, I receive the message "cannot add server"

I have to add the ip 1.23.246.85

Have you a solution or a workaround ?

thanks in advantage
bye  :)

I don't think that IP should be filtered by default, but you might have it in the list already, in which case it wont get added. I'd suggest that you compile yourself a CVS snapshot, the error messages when adding servers has been vastly improved there.

thanks for the answer

this evening I try to do what you suggest..

I had the doubt on the IP address, because if I try to add for example the server 100.100.100.100 port 2002, it is added correctly in the server list.

I hope to be back with good news

bye :)

Great Xaignar

I install aMule from CVS instead of aMule-2.0.0rc8.tar.bz2 and I added the server without any problem :D

thanks and compliments again :)
