Does any body know to how to cancel a download ?
Thanks

if you have a two-button mouse: do a right-click on the file and choose cancel.
if you have a one-button mouse you can emulate the right-click by holding down 'control' and then do a normal click on the file.
by the way, this works system wide... :)

Or click on the download and hit the delete key.

Umm.. that doesn't quite work with the version I'm using.
In the downloads/uploads section, I can click on a file that's not having any activity, click the 'delete' key, and nothing happens.
However, if I click on the ctrl key and click the mouse button on my keypad, the menu mentioned before pops up and I can remove the downloads that way.
But to re-iterate, at least with aMule 2.0.0, using wxMac v2.6.0 (unicoded), the delete key doesn't work when attempting to remove a file that's been slated for download.

DCTapeworm, yes, it does. I do it all the time. :)
OK, maybe Kry should have said the "del" key, also known as the forward delete key and labeled with (http://www.skynet.ie/~caolan/wingdings/proposal/D6.gif).
Probably, we should make the delete AKA backspace key do the same thing. :] I'll look into it.

Fixed in CVS: both backspace and forward-delete are now synonyms for Cancel. :)
