hello amule world
i am new at this and i have closed my ameule whilw i was downloading and know nothing is working i have paste what came up in my terminal so some one can give me a clue how to get back in amule.i thank-you very much for your attention.

hey

well 1st thing you should do is upgrad to rc8 and see if this happens again, 1.2.8 is sooooo old thats its really hard to tell whats wrong.

but looks like it cannot create teh backup of the server.met but god knows if thats really the problem here.

well i got it back and running i just needed to write amule in my comman line and this grey box came up and was saying that i had a new version 2.0.0 rc7 i press ok and got it running again but i got a low ID and most likely this is because i am behind a firewall or router?any way after the rain there is sunshine.thank-you

well ok so the crash is gone now ;)

do you have a router or an iptables firewall? or a firewall from your ISP?
