Title: Core Gui Separation is working?
Post by: PunkSC on April 19, 2005, 07:13:54 PM
I run amule on my "always on" linux box (PII 300 Mhz), and acess it using vnc. Because of the VNC and the GUI interface running on the server, the poor server is always out of resources, so, i am really waiting amule 2.0 to try the core/gui separation (i wanna run the gui on my 3Ghz windows computer).
So, i was wondering: there is some CVS version of amule that support core/gui separation? There is another version or mod or something that suppor it? (i know... mldonkey and edonkey have core/gui separation, but they are crappy clients IMHO).
tks a lot

huh?

there is a link to amule-cvs snapshots
check
http://amule.hirnriss.net

and there you go, amuled working, amule-remote-gui working but not fully functional yet. also you have amuleweb and amulecmd to controll

just check it :))

I would suggest amuled/amuleweb combo. Or does the GUI from CVS work on windows?
