Title: download speed fake?
Post by: Eight_G on April 20, 2005, 01:35:15 AM
Hi all,

I'm using amuled (amuleweb) CVS release of amule (snapshot of 13 aprill 2005), butduring downloads the speed shown by amuleweb cant be realistic, so I see:

Connection: Connected to Razorback 2 [195.245.244.243:4661] with HighID
  Speed: Up: 8.4 | Down: 158.8 (Limits: 15.0/80.0)  [ 20/4/2005 1:35:16 ]

as you can see, the downstream bandwith limit is set to 80 kB/s but it show 158.8 kB/s (and often more than it!). This is obviously not possible (also since my adsl connection can't!!).

There is a bug?

Thanks.

Happens here too,I suggest you use some external software to see how much bandwith you are using.I use a simple script called "ibmonitor".You might need some kernel modules to use it,however.
