Title: aMule Debian Woody packages available
Post by: thermoman on January 06, 2004, 09:44:12 PM
Hi all,

i made a debian woody package of aMule 1.2.3 which is available via apt-get.

Add

Code: [Select]
# aMule
deb http://debian.thermoman.de/ woody amule

to your /etc/apt/sources.list and then run

Code: [Select]
apt-get update
apt-get install amule

to install aMule and the 2 libs libwxgtk2.4 + libwxbase2.4 and libcrypto++ aMule depends on.

Which r the differences between The standard package of amule 1.2.3 that I found in the ufficial repository and your versione of amule ?

Then... I use amule without the libwxbase2.4

It's really necessary ?

The official aMule package in Debian repository is for debian unstable or maybe for testing, but not for woody. Since woody is considered stable there will not go new packages into. So if you want to use aMule with woody, eighter compile it yourself or use the deb i provide :)
