i don't know if it's a new feature or a bug...
i noticed that amule 2.0 (final) change the upload priority when a file is completed, regardless "auto-priority for new files" is checked or not in preferences. i don't think it's a good thing that amule change a priority that i previously set, expecially because i can't stop amule to do that!
thanx for the answers
bye

hum,
weird.. we will check it
cheers
-
well, it does not happen here. and i ran the same amule as you use
-
Might be caused by some last-minute changes by Kry. I've added a bug to the tracker and will be pointing this out to him when he returns.

I clear the upload priority because you did NOT actually set any upload priority. So it doesn't seem strange to me ;)
I'll make it set to Auto if Auto is enabled tho.
-
here is an example:
- some days ago file.avi started -> upload priority: auto (normal) (was enebled in preferences)
- after a while i changed it to: very low and disabled "auto-priority for new files" in prefereces
- the download has been completed and upload priority automatically changed to normal
this seems strange to me ;)
thanx for the patience
-
well, you might have a point there ;)

Well, I can second that, just happened here too.
- "Add new shared files with auto priority" is enabled
- File was in download, upload priority was auto (I think)
- I changed upload priority to very high while the file was still downloading
- After completion the upload priority of the file was changed to high
edit:
I just checked the rest of my shared files that got completed recently and it looks like (although i'm not too sure about 3 of the 12 files we are talking about here) that the upload priority gets set to what the files download priority was...

Version 2.0.3 - The "Hell 2.0.3: Now with improved daemons!" version.
...
Fixed #417 "Upload priority is changed for completed files"
...
the problem seems not to be solved here :(
