So, please, I'm new to linux, what do I have to do?

you have to uninstall (again) wxGTK-2.4.2-5.1.fc3.fr and dl wxGTK-2.4.2 from our download page.

and everytime your amule crash on startup look if -> wxGTK-2.4.2-5.1.fc3.fr <- is installed and follow the step above

Yum mean,
the Fedora Core 3 Package is wrong? OK, I am a newbee, I didn't know that.

But there is a problem,

when I remove wxGTK-2.4.2-5.1.fc3.fr and install wxGTK-2.4.2; Videolan Client is not longer runnig at my system.

the question is .. what do you need more.. vlc or amule?

there are a lot players for linux and amule is the only one ;)

And aMule is the best eMule Client for Linux.

I have already tried xMule, but you can throw it away.

aMule is the one and only....

The question is: is that wxGTK buggy or is aMule buggy, so it does not work with this wxGTK version?

Anyway... could you provide an FC3 rpm linked against wxGTK 2.6.0, please?

wxGTK provided by most linux distributions is buggy.

if i get some ssh access to a fc3 box, i'll make amule & wxgtk 2.6.0 rpms (my hdd has a limit so i can't install everything ;) )

it means when i could connect to your (or someones) pc using ssh i will make wxGTK-2.6.0 and aMule (based on wxGTK-2.6.0) rpms .. ;)

as wxGTK-2.6.0 is faster and better than 2.4.2, it would be nice if we could drop 2.4.2..

..thats why i'm not making amule rpms for SuSE based on wxGTK-2.4.2 anymore, but 2.6.0..

and kite wants such rpms, based on wxGTK-2.6.0 for FC3

you propably have xChat around.. just run it and connect to irc.freenode.net , channel #amule

hey cool! FC3 RPMS and wxGTK 2.6.0 perfect.

I think I am going to test the packages the next days
