Title: leeching...
Post by: K48 on May 07, 2005, 07:47:06 AM
Hello,

I have Slackware 9.1 with recent updates, my GTK version is 2.6.3 and wxWidgets 2.6.0.

I've been using aMule 2.0.0rc8 for sometime with my own mod: I modified it so that it would limit upload speed to 1 kb/s while my download speed may sometimes be up to 5 kb/s (dial-up modem). My two questions are:

1) Is it called leeching?
2) When I compiled and tried to start my new aMule 2.0.0 final, it cannot start anymore, even its main window doesn't appear:

It never happened before but only now when I try to start then new version of amule. I guess I was banned, right? How do I unban myself or are there any tricks to start aMule?
