Hello, I just installed the CVS debs from deb http://www.vollstreckernet.de/debian/ to a fresh sarge computer and I have a problem. I installed amuleweb and amuled (and amule-common and amule-utils, by the way, as I want to make a headless server). I configured the passwords in my other Gentoo working box, and I just copied the hashes to the ~/.aMule/amule.conf in the Sarge box. For easy debugging, the hash for ECPassword and Password of the webserver are the same.
Well, I run amuled in one screen session, then amuleweb on another. I enter the password and amuleweb connects (which means the hash works), but when I try to login from my main computer, the same passwords gets denied (well, actually it doesn't do anything at all, i don't know if there should be an error message for failed logins). It shouldn't be any kind of encoding problem as I didn't used accents or anything weird in the password, and it's not related to the net as using links (all of this over ssh) from the server I get the same result.
¿Any ideas?

I suggest you read some documentation (especially "man amuleweb", EXAMPLES section).
Sorry, but I'm tired of writing down the same things again and again...
Oh, and tell me if you still have problems after reading the man page 8)

also the deb packages from vollstrecker are brocken!!
so if you get crashes on amuleweb, after the login works, tell us but dont complain about it ;)
since he made some patches and that seams to break stuff, if you want it fully working, best would be to compile yourself

OK, sorry so much, I forgot to check the man page... I suggest you add something like "RTFMP" to the amuleweb section in the wiki, as that is what I tried... Now I just get something like "cannot use locale es_ES", which I assume can be a fault of the packages.
Nice man, BTW (sorry again :)).
PS: I use the packages from there because of the easyness of aptitude update / aptitude dist-upgrade and me not having to remember to check if there is any new version here... I tried it first however, but apt-get build-dep amule installed a whole lot of dependencies that got me a little overwhelmed, and I wanted to keep that box as slim as possible (as I want to use it as a server). I'll try from now on with the compiled version, however.
Thanks a lot to all...

sure, if you have any problems just ask ;)

Sefanero, the patches I made don't affect a single line of Code. That's not the problem.
