Looks like you've used the wrong wxGTK packages. Uninstall wxGTK and wxBase using the rpm -e command (i.e. rpm -e wxGTK and so on). Then download the correct wx GTK package from
http://www.amule.org/files/details.php?file=81
and install that. You should be right after that, hopefully. :-)
Note that there is only one package needed, not two.
Cheers,
JPB

i downloaded the other files...following the guide... btw..using your procedure now i've only this:
[root@xp2200 Desktop]# rpm -Uvh aMule-2.0.1-1.i386-FC3.rpm
error: Failed dependencies:
libreadline.so.4 is needed by aMule-2.0.1-1.i386
[root@xp2200 Desktop]#
only this libreadline.so.4...but isn't included in wxGTK (from http://www.amule.org/files/details.php?file=81)??

i've tried to install the readline rpm's...but without any luck
tried with:
readline-4.3-13.i386.rpm
readline-4.3-7.i386.rpm
readline-5.0-3.i386.rpm
readline-5.0-3.i386.rpm
readline-6.3-7.i386.rpm
readline-devel-5.0-3.i386.rpm
always about the same results
[root@xp2200 readline]# rpm -Uvh readline-6.3-7.i386.rpm

looks like your fc4 has some newer version of it ... thats why the amule rpm for fc3 doesn't work.
solution: compile amule yourself or give me access to your pc so i can make amule rpm for you and other users
cheers

mmm... i think that give you access to my pc can be very difficult for me...i'm totally lost now ?( , after spending 2 hour trying to install firefox 1.0.4 over 1.0.3... always for this ****** Failed dependencies ... at least with firefox i've reached a success 8o

1. you will be not the first one that gives me an access to his pc
2. don't worry, i'll not break anything or look into your files
3. decide: wait for someone that provides rpms for fc4, compile amule yourself or take my offer
cheers ;)

try typing this into the console:
yum install compat-readline*
This should enable aMule FC3 RPMs to install

rpm is a pain in the ass, try kanotix (kanotix.com), based on debian which is very easy to install programs with synaptic (in debian-based systems you would do "apt-get install amule" and all dependencies are automatically installed along with the program, and voilá, it works.).
Then go the linux forum, and see:
http://forum.amule.org/thread.php?threadid=5776&sid=&threadview=0&hilight=&hilightuser=0&page=1
This post gives you a way to get the most recent cvs version of amule, I recommend that.
Linux is not as hard as you're thinking, it depends on distributions, some are better at it than others, try out a bit before settling on one. I'm using ubuntu now, but I'm going to change to kanotix, because kanotix is 100 % debian, only user-friendly, and that is exactly what I want.

heh, there is no real difference in apt to yum btw...
-
download amule rpm from this site (if you don't want to compile, but there is excellent compile howto here: http://www.amule.org/wiki/index.php/Compilation_Installation)
Amule FC3 rpm: http://www.amule.org/files/download.php?go=2&file=94&mirror=141
suppose you downloaded aMule-2.0.1-1.i386-FC3.rpm to "/home" directory, type in console:
yum install /home/aMule-2.0.1-1.i386-FC3.rpm
and that's it. Yum will ask you to resolve dependencies automaticaly, just say yes.
