Could someone plz remove (if possible) the aMule.spec and leave only the aMule-CVS.spec from the cvs tarball???
Thankz.....

Hum... no?
Why would we?

Why two .spec files?
-
One of them (amule.spec) is supposed to be the distro spec file. The other one (amule-CVS.spec) is supposed to be used with tarballs to generate daily rpms. amule.spec is not yet functional (my fault).
Cheers!

wardevil,
In fact, I can use some help. You see, I am a little overloaded in work, not that I am lazy these times ;)
All that is needed now is to fix the %files section. That unfortunately requires some compilations. My advice is: install ccache to speed up compilations (you will be compiling the same thing over and over again).
The idea is that with the file amule.spec we will have an easy and officially supported way to include it in Fedora Core. This spec file was built trying to follow their recommendations.
There is something I was going to try to find out, if anyone knows the answer... When you have two spec files inside a tarball, is there a way to select which one to use in rpmbuild?
Cheers!

well...i can give you some help with that ....
Yes,you can choose which spec file to use,but you must have a copy of the spec files outside the tarball....then rpmbuild -ba .spec .
Does it fit for your needs?
I will check the %files section of aMule.spec.....
Cheers.......
