You should upgrade  to 2.0.2 .....at least it is very stable...no crashes whatsoever because the evil development team as fixed some issues regarding stability....

Actually - what I've done to solve instant crash is to rename .aMule dir to .aMule-back.. thats it...

I must admit it happened after unexpected reboot with  :] reset key that was unexpectedly pressed
