I cannot change destination directory for amule 2.3.3. When I opened amule it asked for some strange permissions .
Also the temp and destination directory by default don't exist and I cannot find downloads -
this version is too buggy -
I'm using Big Sur 11.2.3

Got a solution?

I have aMule rinning on Monterey beta but I used Big Sur before.
My guess: you need to allow amule to use a couple of folders.
Open preferences, "security and privacy" -> "Privacy", select for "Files and folders" (I guess, I tried to translate may Italian Mac OS) in the tree on the left part,
then you need to look for aMule on the right side and check I guess the Documents folder.
Bye,

aMule already has full control of the disk and I also have the same error with macOS 12 beta 7 (21A5522h).
