Post by: Squid on August 30, 2005, 02:44:14 PM
Can i run amule from console as daemon ? I want people to use it on a local network. They gonna access it by ip from web interface. Can i run web interface even if i haven't Xsystem? Can i configure it from console as well?

Is this possible?

YEP! You only need to know how to compile it manually and to set some options in the command line to disable the monolithic application and some gui-related features. ./configure --help will help you :D

And there are even packages for Debian Sarge, just take a look here: http://forum.amule.org/thread.php?postid=36518#post36518

The packages you need are amule-daemon and amule-console-utils (which contains amuleweb)
