I have amule running on my pc, and emule running in another one. those two pcs are connected to a router. i forwarded two ports to the other pc and all the other ports to mine, so i got high-id on both pc.
but the id is the same. i read on the wiki that the highid is depending only on ip addres, so ,i will get any problem for this or it is ok ?
it seems to work, but there can be some hidden problem. it's a quite strange configuration, i think :)

it's ok

i used to run two mldonkeys on one machine (b/c mldonkey does not give you very good control over your uploads) and never ran into any problems. just make sure the two clients don't have the same client hash.

LOL....I had 4 boxes with amule on the same ip....yes...diferent ports of course but worked like a charm...all with high id on the same server....
:D
Cheers....

I've got 5 PCs running eMule/aMule (1/4) in the network and have no problems at all, just setting the router is a pain... but that is something you only need to do once :)
Just to all the aMule developers... There is only one Linux box in the network (mine), but most prefer aMule before eMule.. just because it looks more simple to control.. it doesn't have to many "bells" is what they call it... congratulations!
