Title: Gettext not found though it´s installed

I´ve installed gettext 0.14.3 on my system. Unfortunately the configure script tells me that it can´t find gettext. Perhaps this is because the "m4/gettext.m4" is from an older version of gettext.

and you also have gettext-devel ?

on a suse-9.3 the gettext detechtion works fine I am pretty sure about that.....

There´s no gettext-devel package available, neither for SuSE 9.3 nor for 10.0 RC1 (I checked both in YaST). Where do I get it from?
