hi,
i have a problem, with amule version 2.0.3.
the program start minimized and crash and i can't change the preferences,
so i wanna know where is the config file to change the prefs there, but i can't find the /amule directory.... any ideas?

In Linux it's in ~/.aMule [/home/user/.aMule]
'Cause with a . before the Name a dir is hidden you have to enable show hidden files. (there was a solution in the board, try to search the board)

in the Finder simply press the Apply-Symbol + Shift + G and then type .aMule
This should bring you to the folder with all the config files in (including ipfilter.dat, etc..)

Better: press "Apple" instead of "Apply" ;)
and then enter "~/.aMule" (this works even if you don't have your home folder selected).

That's what I meant :D
~/.aMule is new to me but I like it. Since I'm a newbie with Apple's OS X I'm always glad when I leanr something new :D

And just in time to make your newfound knowledge out of date, aMule is changing from using ~/.aMule to using the more familiar ~/Library/Application Support/aMule. The next CVS build should automatically switch.

Great -- I'm very happy about that. :)
Though, I had already planned on preparing a text snippet that I would post into all the new threads that would be created on this issue every 5 days... ;)
