As an Ubuntu noob I found aMule and installed through the synaptic pkg mgr last weekend. I've since switched to Kubuntu and aMule isn't listed in the new 'Adept package manager'.
So, loving aMule for the week I've been using it, I came to aMule.org and downloaded it. However, as a linux noob I'm still 'afwade of doze scarwee terminal thingies'... I'm not yet anywhere near familiar with or independently capable of doing some common tasks such as uncompressing and installing new packages - whether it be through a terminal or Konquerer.
With the wiki down and no install how-to it feels a bit like being in an unfamiliar room - on the 5th floor - w/ all the lights off and an open balcony window.
Any chance on having an install How-to posted in the forum to help us noobs out while the wiki is offline?
regards,
Malac
PS Although I've only used it for 'bout a week (and eMule for a few days before that) I have to say - from what I've seen so far - aMule rocks! :baby:
