Hi,
what does it mean if completed downloads are red labeled? maybe is there some problem?

Ahh -- I thought you meant it was marked red within aMule, which would have been really weird...

It looks like you accidentally assigned a label to the file inside the Finder. To remove it, select the file and then hit to get the "Get Info" dialog. There, just click on the "x" next to "Color Label" to remove the label. :)

Yes, i know how i can remove the label but i don't understand why is it labeled... it is not the first time... and i don't think i have assigned it accidentally.... ?(... i thinked that aMule labeled the file for anything reason.

Weird. I never had that happen to me nor did we get any other reports about this before. What aMule version are you using?

The only explanation I can think of is that you have created a "Folder Action" or that you are using a 3rd party plug-in that does this. Does it happen with every completed download?

I'm using aMule cvs rev.5448.

This the second time it happens and the first time the completed file was corrupted  ;(, this file seems to be ok.

by the way i'm not using Folder actions or 3rd party plug-in.

The third time is happening in this moment... is it possible this happens when i set the file with High priority?

if it is important: few days ago i had a crash on my Firewire external HD, i used Datarescue for recover aMule files part... is it a possible reason?

I discovered the problem  :D, Data rescue! Data rescue labeled the part files... sorry for this alert.

Ah ok, that would explain it. :)
So you are running Data Rescue II from Prosoft, right? Does that software interfere with amule in any other way or is it just the label creation?

Only in the label creation. I discovered the problem when i watched the temp folder, there were part files that were red labeled... they were corrupted files... data rescue can't recover them completely; the problem doesn't exist for new part files.

Hmm... it is possible though that Data Rescue erroneously identifies the temp files as corrupt, then tries to fix them, which results in the files actually getting messed up.
Do you frequently get "Downloaded part

• is corrupt in file: fooBar.avi" messages?

The problem is that there is NO way that Data Rescue can actually determine whether parts of a temp file are corrupt or not, because it does not have access to the md4 hash of the final file (aMule, in contrast, knows this hash, because it is part of the ed2k link). So if Data Rescue does anything with the temp files, chances are that it actually screws up something.
