Title: downloads never seem to start

i'm running amule 2.0.3

i can connect to servers, usually using a high id, the exception being certain hotspots i frequent...

global searches work great, i can find what i like with numerous sources
problem is, when i start a download, nothing happens. the graph turns blue, which i thought meant there was data being downloaded... sometimes, downloading will work for a very short time...

anybody else have a similiar problem? or know how to fix this

i'm running mac os x tiger, by the way

search the forum for "amule is slow" you will find millions of answers ;)
