I feel extremely stupid asking this but there's no tutorial and I was unable to find anythingthing useful in the search either (searched for "shared file list").
So how do i view other users' file lists?
I know i can click right on them and use view files. If it's accepted in the search a few searches with the user's name appears (seems like for each folder one search). But...no matter which user i try...no matter how many times...they're all empty! I even tried users i was able to be certain that they're sharing some files but it's no use. So...what's the correct way to view their list?

ps. works in cvs

ya know i didn't ask for that...
I already found that post and it only says the client crashes when somebody gets your file list.
I'm asking how to correctly view other people's file lists.

You right-click on the other's nickname in your queue (down, up, or waiting). Then a new search window opens, and maybe it displays the other users file list.
However, most users have disabled the option in their preferences (either for everybody, or just for not-friends). Thus, in most cases you get no file list at all.
If you disabled the option yourself, you can sometimes see the msg in your log: "Client xyz asked to see your filelist -> rejected" or something like that.
Regards.

I know other people mostly have it disabled but even when it's accepted i cannot see the list...
It even said "user *** is sharing ***"
and
"user ** has sent shared-files list for ***"
or well something similar to that. I tried like about 50 users and 5 accepted and every time amule told me that they've sent the shared file list but in the search it stays empty. If it's accepted it only opens some searches. The amount of searches that open is also how often it told me "user *** is sharing ***" and "user ** has sent shared-files list for ***" for one user (every time with different share name). However that's it, it stays empty. Am i doing something wrong..or what?...Maybe nobody has tested this feature yet? LOL...

emperor, do u use 1.2.4 or cvs ?
-
1.2.4.
Your question makes me assume it's not yet implemeted in 1.2.4?
But hey in that link you gave me it only said outgoing shared file lists crash the client but my problem is shared file lists of other users aren't displayed correctly , is that the same thing? Dunno, maybe I'm real stupid...but to me those 2 things are different...?
So...well...you could've told me in the first place that it's not implemented yet instead of linking me to a thread that's about something entirely different.
Or well...after all it has to be my stupidity, I already know it...
