if you ahve questions to either step just ask :))

i tried to compile amule myself for hours but had no luck. thedude0001 @irc gave me a link to his debian sarge backports and now it runs flawlessly. okay now azureus is no longer running, this is the output:

(process:1510): Gdk-WARNING **: locale not supported by C library

(:1510): Gtk-WARNING **: Locale not supported by C library.
        Using the fallback 'C' locale.

but i think thats the wrong forum for problems with bittorrent-clients :)

amule is more important to me and i am glad its running, although having access to both worlds would be great..

I have a xbox with x-dsl and you can apt-get install a lot of packets. I'm sure you can also do it in xebian.

Look at your sources.list
