Title: Start Up problem
Post by: cuak2000 on November 15, 2005, 03:11:56 AM
Hi. Maybe this is a very stupid problem, but I didn't know how
to fix it. I've just downloaded amule 2.0.3 (i've never used this program)
and after it starts, it gives me this message: cannot set locale to 'es_AR'
Then, when I try to search for a server, it freezes.
Thanks for your time!

IIRC amule 2.0.3 had an issue with localizations that are fixed in more recent CVS builds.

When you say that amule freezes when you "try to search for a server", do you mean amule freezes if you click the little play-symbol button left of the serverlist url field? If yes, that's an issue that ken and I are currently working on figuring out what the cause is so that he can fix it. (http://forum.amule.org/thread.php?threadid=5051&sid=)

Hi. Thank you for your answer. I downloaded the latest version
(http://download.berlios.de/amule/aMule-Mac.CVS.2005-11-03.noDebug.zip ), but
I still get exactly the same problem! (cannot set locale to 'es_AR')

Try going into aMule's preferences and pick a different language setting.  Maybe that will help.
