Title: Changing default mode of created files
Post by: wpietron on November 16, 2005, 10:11:41 AM
amule 2.0.3
Linux 2.4.27
Debian

Hello,

amule creates new files with -rw-r-r-- permissions by default. It is not
convenient for me, because I would like to have the files created with
-rw-rw-r-- mode.  I set umask to 0002 in amuled environment to have 0664 as
default permissions but it looks like the daemon ignores it and still
creates 0644 files.

Does anybody know how can I make amuled to create 0664 mode files instead
of 0644?

Thank you in advance,
Wojciech

amule - preferences - security - default permissions
Though these settings are only used for newly started downloads.
