Hi,
I figure that the default outgoing server port is 4661 can i reset it to 4000 ?
Regards,
Tany.

That port is unimportant, it's the port where the server listens for connections, has nothing to do with you. To change it, connect to a server listening on a different port number.
Also, I moved the thread to the correct forum.
Regards.

I see...
For some reason while using eMule on my XP, i manage to connect to 212.150.248.6 on port # 4000, but when using aMule on my Solaris box, connection is established but lost almost immediatly. See log below :
2005-11-29 00:10:33: Connected to 212.150.248.6 (212.150.248.6:4000)
2005-11-29 00:10:34: Lost connection to 212.150.248.6 (212.150.248.6:4000)
2005-11-29 00:10:34: Connection lost

Have you tried a different server? I know 192.245.244.244 on port 3000 is a good server. Try it and see if it works. BTW: Which amule version are you using? (if CVS, which date?)
Regards.
